one of the top bakeries 

It is ironic to me how my favorite bakery in Memphis was one of the last bakeries I tried here. Prior to my liking for Muddy’s, I went to other bakeries around the city: Gigi’s Cupcakes (which is no longer here), Frosts and Smallcakes. It was around this time that I got my hands on a Muddy’s cupcake. It automatically stood out to me; it had a rich, natural taste to it unlike the other bakeries. Frosts and Muddy’s became my go to bakeries. But eventually, Muddy’s became my primary bakery because of how good their desserts were.

Muddy’s has a lot to offer dessert-wise. The list includes cake, pie, cookies, oatmeal cream pies and pudding. In addition to the cakes/cupcakes, another one of my favorites to get at Muddy’s is their oatmeal cream pies. The oatmeal cookies have a great texture and the fluffy cream filling is absolutely delicious. For my family, the bakery is where we usually get our special day or event cakes from. The cake itself is very detailed and satisfies your dessert craving. It also does not take eating too much of the cake before you get full from it.
